    This 200-hour program consists of:

    • 7 immersive weekend sessions (21 days, 168 in-person hours.)

    Self-study through essential readings:
    • Light on Yoga by B.K.S. Iyengar
    • Light on Life by B.K.S. Iyengar

    • 5 community classes (practical teaching experience)

    Each weekend will focus on a specific theme, progressing from the fundamentals of yoga to advanced teaching techniques and philosophy.

    What You’ll Learn Each Weekend

    Weekend 1: Foundations of Yoga & The Teacher’s Path
    • The history & philosophy of yoga (Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, Yoga Sutras)
    • Understanding the 8 Limbs of Yoga & how they influence daily life
    • Exploring the four student types and how to teach them effectively
    • Class structure: how to build a well-rounded yoga class
    • Teaching practice: guiding a warm-up sequence

    Weekend 2: The Koshas, Chakras & The Energetic Body
    • The 5 Koshas (layers of being) and how yoga affects them
    • The Chakras & the energetic system
    • Pranayama techniques & their effect on the nervous system
    • Using mantra, sound, and meditation in practice
    • Teaching Sun Salutations: three variations for different student needs

    Weekend 3: Anatomy, Alignment & The Physical Body
    • Understanding yoga anatomy & biomechanics
    • Alignment principles & how to prevent injuries
    • Adapting sequences for different body types & mobility levels
    • Teaching practice: strengthening poses & core activation

    Weekend 4: The Art of Teaching – Sequencing & Communication
    • How to sequence a class with intention
    • Creating themes that engage all four student types
    • Teaching cues: verbal, hands-on, and observational skills
    • Teaching practice: designing & leading a themed class

    Weekend 5: Adjustments, Observation & Teaching Presence
    • The power of hands-on adjustments & ethical touch
    • How to observe students & offer personalized cues
    • Building confidence & overcoming self-doubt as a teacher
    • Teaching practice: partner work & hands-on adjustments

    Weekend 6: Yoga Philosophy, Meditation & Living Yoga Off the Mat
    • Deep dive into the 8 Limbs of Yoga & their modern application
    • Teaching meditation: techniques to guide students inward
    • The role of self-inquiry & inner work in teaching yoga
    • Teaching practice: guiding a meditation & philosophy-infused class

    Weekend 7: The Business of Yoga, Community Classes & Graduation
    • How to build a sustainable yoga career
    • Teaching in studios, retreats, private settings & online
    • Final teaching practicum: lead a full-length class with feedback
    • Closing reflections & graduation ceremony

    This class is designed to follow the traditional 26 & 2 series in a heated room,using a consistent sequence of postures to promote alignment ,flexibility, and detoxification.
    You can expect to leave feeling challenge,invigorated,and deeply refreshed.

  • IF YOU  want to relax and release tension in your body and mind- Try our Yin classes.
    This class is designed to promote deep relaxation,improve flexibility ,and encourage mindfulness through long-held , passive postures.
    You can expect to leave feeling rested,open and at ease.

  • BROCK - Hot Hatha (17-1800 Tranquille Rd)
  • If you want to move with intention, connect to your breath and find balance- check out a Hatha class!
    This class is designed to offer a well-rounded practice,combining strength, flexibility, and breath awareness in a heated room. As an umbrella term for all yoga, Hatha can vary based on the teachers style, ranging from gentle to more dynamic movement.
    You can expect to leave feeling centered,refreshed, and in tune with your body.
